The Stavig Group of companies: North Coast Container, General Steel Drum, Myers Container, and Container Management Services are closely monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation. Our focus is, as always, on the health and safety of our employees, customers, and community.
The Stavig Group will continue options during the Covid-19 pandemic as an “Essential Business.” Our packaging is used to transport and store goods that are part of the critical manufacturing sector supply chain as designated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Our packaging supports vital food, energy, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Accordingly, we are covered as “Essential Business Services” within the meaning of all Covid-19 executive orders issued to date by the various state and local municipalities, as well as transportation of goods into Canada.
We are a U.S. based manufacturer and we source our materials domestically wherever possible. Although we live in a global world, this approach has put the Stavig Group in a strong position to service our customers. We have not incurred any Covid-19 related issues in our supply chain and are able to source the critical raw materials necessary to operate. Across our group of companies, we service all 50 States and Canada with 7 factories in 4 States. As such, we have a strong and sustainable business continuity plan in place and our service to our customers has not been impacted. These factors should give you confidence in your choice to use Stavig Group’s containers.
We have a special responsibility to maintain our normal work schedule. This is critical to our team, critical to our customers, and critical to our suppliers. We are following all updated CDC and OSHA guidance to protect our employee health and continue operations.
